EFT Payments

In Qbyte CS Land, often a Mineral or Surface Lease rental payment is required to be automatically deposited into a bank account rather than a paper cheque generated.

There is no setup or configuration in Qbyte CS Land to indicate when an EFT payment is required. The Lease Rental Cheque process runs as normal, there is not a way to suppress the cheque details in Qbyte CS Land.

If Qbyte CS Land and Qbyte Financial are integrated, discuss with your Qbyte Financial team the setup that is required in Qbyte Financial specific to EFT payments, and to suppress the paper cheque from being generated.

• Use the Qbyte Optix Mineral or Surface Lease Payment Summary to view the Payment Type for how the payment was issued, STD cheque or EFT payment, and the Payment Status identifies if the payment has cleared the bank.
