TPA Status* | Choose the well TPA status for which you want to specify road maintenance rates. The Third Party Update Utility requires that each agreement have one TPA Status on the Maintenance tab for each of the following categories: Drilling, Producing and Non-Producing. Although the drilling status is required on the Maintenance tab when the Third Party Update utility is used a drilling TPA status will not be proposed if the Maintenance Fee Start Date is more recent than the spud date. So although your process may be to not bill out till after Rig Release Date, the Drilling fee is required to capture situations where the Maint Fee Start Date may be BEFORE the Rig Release Date, in error. Many TPA Statuses will have been assigned a Status Category ( Validation Table ). User will get a warning if adding multiple TPA Statuses having the same Status Category, but will be able to save and proceed. The warning is given because the Third Party Update Utility cannot propose a TPA Status for a well if the agreement has multiple statuses of the same category. If there are multiple producing statuses the Producing TPA status field on the User Wells tab is used to specify which Producing Status is to be proposed for the particular Third Party Well. If you know which producing status will be used for the User Well at time of entry then add it at time of entry. If Producing Status is not known the Third Party Update Utility will request one be entered when the well produces. The Third Party Update Utility Error Message tab will show where data needs to be corrected. For example, Missing Drilling Fee or Multiple Producing Rates. |
Rate per Unit* | If the maintenance fees are based on the length, enter the rate per mile or kilometer of road. Note: You can specify the unit of measure referenced in the Third Party agreement in the Unit of Measure field in the Base information tab. |
Flat Rate* | If the charge is a flat rate road maintenance fee, enter the flat fee as specified on the Third Party agreement. Note: $0 fees are included in a invoice process.
|
Frequency* | Used to determine how often a fee is invoiced. Enter frequency as specified on the Third Party agreement. |
