DOI Penalty Window

The Penalty Window is accessed from the DOI Window in Contract, Unit or Facility Agreements.

FIELD	DESCRIPTION
Occ	Upon initial Input/Insert the system automatically assigns an Occurrence (Occ) Number based on the chronological order in which the information was added. Note: The Occurrence (Occ) Number can be re-numbered at any time (if required) to change the display order of the rows.
Well UWI*	Double click in the field to open the Well Linking popup which provides a list of wells linked to the contract sub (discussed below). When a well is attached to this Penalty window, the Penalty Flag display field on the Well Base tab is set to Yes.
Dev Penalty*	Enter Yes if well is subject to a Development penalty percentage, else enter No.
Expl Penalty*	Enter Yes if well is subject to a Exploration penalty percentage, else enter No. A well cannot be in both an Exploratory and a Development penalty, so this value must be different than the Dev Penalty.
Payout Date	This date will be entered when the well reaches Payout. At that time, the Penalty Flag display field on the Well Base tab will turn to No.

If multiple UWIs are in penalty, select the Add Row button to add more wells to this screen.

Penalty Well Linking Popup

This window opens when you double click in the Well UWI field of the Penalty window above. It provides a list of wells that have been related to the contract sub. If you do not see your well, then exist the DOI windows and tab, and go to the Related Files > Related Wells tab and relate the contract sub to the well.

Highlight the well that is in penalty and click Link.

If you wish to see more information about the well before linking it to the Penalty, either double click on the UWI or highlight and click Browse.
