Overview

The Pipelines module can be used optionally to maintain and track your Pipelines. 

Pipelines Tab Definitions

The following tabs are available (shown in alphabetical order). Your System Administrator can change which tabs are available and the order in which they are shown.

Copying Pipelines

The Copy From option allows you to copy selected information from an existing file to a new file.  The Pipeline Document Copy pop up will allow you to select the specific sections that you wish to copy or check the Select All Sections option.   Note that the system places a  forced update  symbol (in this case the open file folder) on the tabs for which information was copied. You must click each tab with a forced update symbol and verify that the correct information was entered. The system will not write the new document to the database until each section has been reviewed.

Other Ways to Update Pipelines

You may consider using one or more of the following methods for helping maintain your Pipeline data:

• If you have access to a public data hub (IHS or gDC) you might want to utilize the user process for Asset Utilities - Pipelines . 

• Qbyte Exchange for Pipelines  is available for bulk loading of new files or updating existing files when needing to make the same change on many Facilities at once.

• Learn about  Ways to Mass Update  various Pipeline data like Remarks, Obligations, Business Associates, etc.

Reporting for Pipelines

Options for reporting Pipeline data includes the following:

• Qbyte Optix Pipeline Details (Abstract) report,

• Qbyte Optix Pipeline Summary (list of pipelines) 

• Qbyte Optix Pipeline Data Extract (you select which data/columns to see) 

All Pipeline data from any of these Qbyte Optix reports can also be exported to Excel.
