How To Assign Penalty Status to a DOI Partner

This can only be done when updating a Contract DOI, in the Contract module. If you have linked your Mineral DOI to an operating Contract DOI that has a partner in penalty the window will display a ‘Y’ under the ‘P’ (penalty) column against the partner in penalty.

1. Navigate to the DOI Detail window.

2. Highlight the DOI partner that you want to place in penalty.

3. Double-click the Penalty field. The system displays the DOI Penalty window.

4. Select Add Row to add a new penalty well record. The system displays the penalty well fields.

5. In the penalty fields, enter the penalty well information,.
