If your company is currently using a rental interface, it is not necessary to populate the fields in the Rental Interface window manually, as the system will do so for you automatically when you run the Rental Distribution step in the rental process. On the other hand, if your company is NOT currently using a rental interface and you wish to keep rental distribution records, you must populate the fields in the Rental Distribution window manually.

Note: If a sub record for a lease is deleted, all of the rental distribution records related to that sub are similarly deleted.

Field Name	Definition

Field Name	Definition
File Sub	If you want to maintain a distribution record for a specific sub rather than for the lease as a whole, enter the number for that Mineral Lease sub in the File Sub field.
GI Acct Number	Enter the GL Account number.
Cost Center
Dist Amount	Enter the distribution amount.
Percent	The system automatically calculates the distribution percent based on the information provided in the other fields.
Override Flag	If you use a rental interface and want to be able to overwrite the information in the distribution fields, click on the ‘Yes’ radio button. Note: Selecting the Yes radio button also prevents the system from automatically updating the information in the distribution fields when you run the Rental Distribution step during the rental process.
