Did you know that you have the ability to add a tab/fields in any of the Qbyte CS Land modules to store company-specific data? Learn everything you need to know on how to setup, query, and report on Client Defined Fields. |
The Client Defined Tab provides a place to store company specific data relating to an agreement or asset.
This code table setup window is used to define the drop down list of values that are associated with the Client Defined data fields having a type of Validation Code in the Update Client Defined window. Note: it is recommended that this Validation Table is setup before adding the new data field to save a step in the setup. Note: A complete list of the setup steps required for Client Defined Fields can be found on the Client Defined Tab.
There are two sections to this window:
Code Types section - The Description in this section is used to link to the Validation Code on the Update Client Defined window.
Codes section - This section is used to define the list of values that the user will see in the drop-own for the selected row in the Code Types section .
1. Set up the Code Types and select Save Type before moving on to the Codes section.
