Introduction

The Mineral Lease Property Summary includes lease information for a selection of Mineral documents. The summary includes base and sub level data, related wells, along with the flexibility to specify which DOIs you would like to see and how much Royalty information you would like to see.

Features of this Report

  • Use the drill-downs to get further details.  For example: Click once on a Lease File Number Sub and it will open the Mineral Lease Sub Details report.  To get back to the Mineral Lease Property Summary report, simply click the Mineral Lease Property Summary breadcrumb underlined in blue in the top-left corner.

  • Report Options for DOIs to select which DOI should be shown on the report: Current DOI only, Include Current DOI and Rental DOI, Include Current and Reference DOI, or Include Current DOI, Rental DOI and Reference DOI.

  • Report Options for Royalty Details to indicate if Royalty details should be shown (Include Royalty Details) or not shown (Exclude Royalty Details) on the report.



Sample Steps to Run

Scenario:  Mineral Lease Property Summary for All Active Mineral leases in specific DLS location – include Current and Rental DOIs and show the Royalty Details.

1. Select the Optix Reports > Leases > Mineral Leases > Mineral Lease Property Summary.

2. Select Report Options >

Data Selection > DOIs = Include Current DOI and Rental DOI.

Presentation > Royalty Details = Include Royalty Details.

3. Select Mineral Lease Subs > Mineral Lease Sub Selection Method = Enter Mineral Lease Sub Criteria.

Basic > Sub File Status = All Active

Location > Survey System Type = DLS > Location Function = equals > Township = 13 > Range = 32 > Meridian = W1.

4. Click View Report.

5. Save Report Criteria into your Favorites Folder so that you can easily re-run in the future. Remember to flag it as shared if you would like others to see/run this report.

6. Print to PDF.

Note: Due to the width of the spreadsheet, a complete picture cannot be displayed.

When the Mineral Lease Property Summary is exported to Excel the data is split into six sheets including the Report Criteria. 

  • The first sheet (Mineral Lease Subs) displays data from Mineral Lease Sub section including Land Description and Rights Held Description.

  • Second sheet (Mineral Lease Sub DOI Links) displays data from Mineral Lease Sub DOI links including Land Contract Sub File Number (if applicable).

  • The third sheet (Wells) displays data from Wells section including Well File Status Date and other dates such as Rig Release and Spud.

  • Fourth sheet (Royalties) displays both Mineral and Contract driven royalties from the Royalties section.

  • Fifth sheet (File Statuses) displays all Files and their respective File Statuses.

  • The last sheet is the Report Criteria.
