Introduction

Global Factors can be uploaded to Qbyte Metrix either by spreadsheet import or through Integration. The following details how to use the Integration process. Please see Spreadsheet Import  to upload by Spreadsheet. At this time, neither Qbyte Financial or Qbyte CS Land provide the ability to integrate Royalty Global Factors to Qbyte Metrix.

1. Under Application Integration, Click the Process Button to Open the Maintain Integrations Screen

  • The Global Rates tab is the last tab.
Note: This tab will be disabled if Global Rates integration is not enabled.

  • The screen will open showing all Royalty Global Factor IDs that have a Process Status of Non-Processed. Displayed records can be in one of three states: Non-Processed - waiting to be Integrated, Processed - already Integrated, and Previously Deleted - deleted prior to being integrated. To see previously processed entries, you can change the Process Status filter to include Royalties that have been either Processed or Previously Deleted.

  • To select one or many global factors, click the Selected checkbox beside each row. This action activates the Delete and Integrate buttons.

  • Records that are waiting to be integrated (Non-Processed) can be deleted (which will change their status to Previously Deleted and will not actually remove the record) or they can be Integrated.

  • The Qbyte Metrix table GLOBAL_RATE_INTEGRATIONS can be manually updated to display this data.

2. Click the Integrate Button

  • Once you have selected all records you want to integrate, click the Integrate button.

  • A pop-up window will appear to confirm that the selected records are to be processed.

  • Click OK to integrate the selected masters or Cancel to return to the Maintain Integrations screen.

3. Filter by Royalty Global Factor ID to Find the Newly Integrated Global Factor

  • If no errors were found, the message Selected records have been successfully integrated will appear at the top of the screen.

  • The grid will now be filtered by the Process Status, Processed.

  • Once a record has been successfully integrated (which changed its state to Processed) it cannot be Deleted or Integrated again.

  • If there are errors, the Integration screen will be displayed again with the Global Factor having a Process Status of Non-Processed, and with an Error Indicator of Yes.

  • The Error Description will indicate how to correct the error.

  • This Global Factor can again be integrated after the errors have been fixed.

4.  Navigate to Royalties → Freehold/Override/IOGC → User-Defined Global Factors

  •  Filter by ID to find the Royalty Global Factor ID that was successfully integrated.
