Common Issues Encountered
Qbyte Metrix
Problems Encountered after a New Release is Installed
If menus appear to be wrapped, buttons are not aligned or have moved, or the User Interface is behaving oddly, it could be a browser-caching issue. In order to speed up web browsing, web browsers are designed to download web pages and store them locally on your computer's hard drive in an area called "cache." The screens display quicker by loading pages from the cache instead of downloading everything again. However, after a release, we want to see changes that were made to the web page, so we need to refresh our cache. To force this refresh, click F5 or the combination of Ctrl + F5 to clear your cache.
Problems Encountered with Microsoft Edge Browser
The Microsoft Edge browser provides functionality on certain text boxes known as AutoComplete/Autofill. AutoComplete remembers previous values that were inputted into text fields on web forms. There is a known issue in Qbyte Metrix when this functionality is enabled. The standard functionality of using mouse double-clicking to highlight the content in a text field does not work if an AutoComplete box is displayed. While this is standard Microsoft Edge functionality and cannot be modified, AutoComplete can be disabled, thereby allowing the double-click functionality. See Microsoft Edge Autofill Fields to disable this in Microsoft Edge.
