Capital Projects

A capital project is a grouping of similar projects within a budget ie: annual development projects, exploration projects or land acquisitions. Capital projects assist the user with breaking down the budget into the next level of detail. To set up capital projects, navigate to the menu and select Configuration > AFE > Capital Projects

Fill in capital project information:

Field	Description
Capital Project Code	User-defined code for the capital project. The capital project code is defined in this field, not in the validation tables.
Capital Project Desc	User-defined description of the capital project code. This allows the user to provide further detail about the project.
Capital Budget Code	User-defined capital budget code previously defined in the validation tables.
Capital Project Manager	Name of the person responsible for managing the capital project.
