Process
The Qbyte user responsible for the month end process will submit a job using the Qbyte job submission via job stream to run the program that will select and summarize all line items for the requested organization and accounting period and insert into the LINE_ITEM_SUMMARIES table with a unique report id. The process will verify that the transactions balance to zero for the report id. Transactions created by the restatement and P&L close processes are not included in the summarization. The process can be run more than once for an accounting period. Subsequent runs will summarize all transactions rather than calculate incremental amounts.
