Introduction

The post month end process includes updating reporting hierarchies in this sequence:

1. Flatten reporting hierarchies

2. Summarize reporting hierarchies.

Flatten Reporting Hierarchies

Reporting hierarchies are Flattened to prepare for reporting. 

The process to flatten takes the reporting hierarchy and reduces it to a single line showing the parent/child/etc. relationships. 

1. Navigate to the menu and select Financial → Flatten Reporting Hierarchies.

2. Click on Submit to flatten the hierarchies.

3. View results in the Process Monitor for module MRSU103 to confirm process ran successfully.

4. Once the hierarchy is flatten you may Summarize Reporting Hierarchies.
