The Spreadsheet Update template FACILITYOVERRIDEOPNINV can be used to update the Facility Inventory Override inventory volume. This template updates the Facility Override Inventories by matching the  Production Date, Facility, Product, Well/Tract Type, Well/Tract, Owner ID, Participant Type, Producing Battery, Sending Battery, Flow Group ID, Reference Owner, Obligation Owner and Obligation Product.

Product Inventory can be overridden by:

When using the FACILITYOVERRIDEOPNINV template, the data can be generated in one of two ways:

  1. By manually creating data in .CSV format to match the Template format.

  2. By following the steps described below using Data Extracts from Qbyte Optix for Qbyte Metrix.

Step 1: Create Override Inventories by Owner Within the Facility Override Inventory Screen

Create Override Inventories at an Entity/Owner that need to be updated through the Template Import. Override Inventories at an Product/Entity/Owner can be created using the Override Facility Opening Inventory screen.

Step 2: Enter the Total Override Opening Inventory Volume

The total Override Opening Inventories volume for each product must be entered within the Override Facility Opening Inventory screen. Only the products that are to be imported by spreadsheet should be updated. The entered product Override Opening Inventory total will be used to split between product/owners.

Step 3: Extract Override Inventory by Using the Battery Data Extract, Facility Data Extract, Gathering System Data Extract, or Plant Data Extract

1. Log in to Qbyte Optix, and select the Battery Data Extract, Facility Data Extract, Gathering System Data Extract, or the Plant Data Extract.

2. Enter the Reporting Period and then Battery, Facility, Gathering System, or Plant Criteria. You can also use the Data Relationships section to limit the list to only those entities with Inventory Overrides.

  • The Data Relationships section of the BatteriesFacilities,  Gathering Systems and Plants selection criteria has an Inventory Overrides option under Attribute which can be used with the Function set to exist to ensure that only selected entities that have Inventory Override data will be included on the report. Using this will ensure that the report does not have empty lines for selected entities that have no Inventory Override data.

3. Click on the Data Extract Attributes and then Add Commonly Used Attributes

4. Click on the Inventory Override commonly used attributes, and the following attributes are added as the selected attributes for the data extract.

5. Use the Export Excel: XLSX option to extract the data. Edit using Microsoft Excel.

  • If no data is displayed, from within Qbyte Metrix update one row of either the Entities or Owners grid for the battery, gathering system or plant.

    • Save, then use Export Excel: XLSX again.

  • The only column that you should update is the Override Inventory Volume

  • The total of the Override Inventory Volume column for the Product/Facility (Battery/Gathering System/Plant) must match the Override Opening Inventory total entered in Step 2.

  • The first five rows of the generated spreadsheet (see below) can be left as is or deleted together with the logo before saving. If the first five rows are still included in the saved template, when loaded, five errors will be displayed within the Import Status report. These errors can be ignored.
