Logical Model Reports Configuration
Back to Qbyte Optix Logical Model
The Optix reports also exist in the P2 Optix Logical Model and are available for vocabulary changes. Reports are named using CamelCase with the first letter capitalized. The Optix report names can be customized by locale in the same manner as objects. The Existing Reports maintenance in the Logical Model may be used to update report names. Changing the report name will change the name of the report on the Optix Home page when reports are listed. It will also change the report name in My Home and change the default report titles. The Maximum Rows controls the maximum number of records retrieved on the report.
The Existing Reports maintenance in the Logical Model may also be used to increase the maximum number of rows of data the report can retrieve at one time. By default, reports are set to a 25,000 maximum row threshold and data extracts are set to a 100,000 maximum row threshold.
Report changes in the Logical Model must be saved by invoking the Save button. Once saved, attribute changes in the Logical Model are not reflected to the users until the Reset All Cache button is invoked.
If the threshold is reached on a report, the following message will appear: "Please narrow down your report criteria as the query results reached the maximum (5000) row limit defined for this report. This may result in an incomplete report".
The Maximum Rows threshold does not affect the Export to PDF or Excel.
