The following is a list of available Qbyte Optix for Qbyte Metrix reports

 

Allocation

Production

  • Well Production Details - Input, estimate, and actual production by Well, including wellhead consumption.

  • Well Production Summary - Estimate and actual well production by Well.  This report is most useful when run for all wells in a battery as it includes totals and proration factors which make sense only when all wells in the battery are included on the report.

  • Cap and Solution Well Production Details - Estimate and actual production for cap/solution wells.

  • Commingled Well Production Details - Input, estimate, and actual production for commingled wells.  This report displays the parent well's input and estimated production and the allocation of estimated and actual production to the child wells.

  • Load Oil/Water Details - Load oil/water opening inventory, received, recovered, and closing inventory by well and load receipt.

  • Production History - Wellhead production by well and production month and cumulative from inception as stored during Month End Close.  The data on this report is not available until the Month End Close has been run for the production date(s) selected.

  • Historical Well Production - Wellhead production and calculated daily production rates by well and production month, with yearly totals.  The data on this report is available as soon as the Step01 - Allocations process is run.

Balance

  • Battery Balance - Inventory, production, receipts, consumption, dispositions and metering difference by Battery.

  • Gathering System Balance - Receipts, shrinkage, dispositions, consumption and metering difference by Gathering System.

  • Plant Balance - Receipts, shrinkage, gas equivalent, dispositions, consumption and metering difference by Plant.

  • Injection Facility Balance - Inventory, production, receipts, dispositions, injection and meter difference by Injection Facility.

  • Consumption Usage -  Usage ID data by Facility (Battery, Gathering System, Plant), including Input Volume at the Usage level, linked wells/tracts and Input Volume at the well/tract level and Analysis linked to the Usage.

Gathered/Inlet

  • Facility Inlet Gathered - Well gathered and inlet gathered grouped by facility or owner. Can be used for all allocation methods.

  • Gathered Gas Balance - Gathered, adjustment and plant Inlet volumes for each sending facility. Adjustment = consumption if Allow Gathered Adjustments = Y.  Can be used for all allocation methods; however, the Adjustment and Inlet Gathered columns will be zero for Gas Flow facilities.

  • Gathered Adjustment Audit - Consumption including basis for proration. No data unless Allow Gathered Adjustments = Y. Can be used for all non-Gas Flow allocation methods.

  • Gas Flow Facility Volume Received - Volumes/components received by well/tract/owner/flow for each facility. Can be used for all Gas Flow allocation methods.

  • Gas Flow Theoretical - Theoretical volume/components by well/tract/owner/flow for each facility.  Can be used for all Gas Flow allocation methods.

  • Derived Chemical Analysis Details - Derived gas analysis by facility. For factored gathered, component, and IPS allocation methods, excluding Gas Flow.

  • Ideal Product Shrinkage Inlet Theoretical Audit - Theoretical inlet components (volume and mole %) by facility. Inlet via hierarchy only. For IPS allocation method (excluding gas flow IPS).

  • Ideal Product Shrinkage Inlet Allocation Audit - Gathered and allocated volumes by component. For IPS allocation method (excluding gas flow IPS).

  • Ideal Product Shrinkage Transfer Receipt Audit - Theoretical inlet components (volume and mole %) by facility. Outside receipts only. For IPS allocation method (excluding gas flow IPS).

  • Ideal Product Shrinkage Theoretical Audit - Best report for IPS allocation methods. Detailed entity theoreticals = inlet + outside receipts. Adjusted entity theoreticals displayed if IPS adjustment option has been selected. Remaining entity theoreticals = components that have not been allocated. Owners displayed if Gas Flow IPS. For IPS allocation methods (including Gas Flow IPS).

Allocation

  • Inventory Override Details - Opening inventory that has been overridden by well/tract/owner. For all allocation methods.

  • Gas and Products Point-to-Point Allocation - Plant gathered and production, by product, allocated to facilities and wells (including unit wells). For gathered and factored gathered allocation methods (excluding gas flow).

  • Sales Meter Component Details - Calculated Derived analyses and the analyses that were used to split facility dispositions and production down to the component-level.  For all component-based allocation methods for both Gas Flow and non-Gas Flow.

  • Gas and Products Point-to-Point Component Allocation - Plant gathered and production, by product, allocated to facilities and wells (including unit wells). For component allocation methods (excluding gas flow component).

  • Ideal Product Shrinkage Actual Analysis Audit - Describes analyses used for production, consumption, and dispositions. For IPS allocation methods (including gas flow IPS).

  • Ideal Product Shrinkage Actuals Audit - Actual volumes and mole % by IPS order including gas equivalent vol. For IPS allocation methods (including gas flow IPS).

  • Ideal Product Shrinkage Actual vs. Theoretical Variance - Actual vs. theoretical volume by component. Includes IPS adjustment option. For IPS allocation methods (including gas flow IPS).

  • Ideal Product Shrinkage Process - This is a very large report. Allocation results by IPS order and component, for each well (or well/tract/owner if IPS gas flow), including remaining theoretical for the next IPS order number. Includes flow IDs if used. For IPS allocation methods (including gas flow IPS).

  • Ideal Product Shrinkage Process Excess Audit - Actual, available, and variance by component for each order where actual is greater than available (positive variance). For IPS allocation methods (including gas flow IPS).

  • Consumption Allocation - Allocated consumption volume by well/tract/owner for facilities where consumption Usage IDs have been used.  For all allocation methods.

  • Gas Flow Production Allocation - Received theoretical, adjusted theoretical, and allocated production by well/tract/owner/flow ID. Component volumes are included unless allocation method is Gathered. This report is for Gas Flow facilities using Gathered, Component or Grouped Component allocation methods.

  • Gas and Products Allocation Details - Product, allocation method, dispositions, allocation details (by battery/well/tract). For all allocation methods excluding gas flow.

  • Production Override Details - Displays wells/tracts where the production has been overridden. For all allocation methods.

  • Gas Shrinkage Activity Details Report - Shows well/tract volumes, by facility, that the well/tract flowed through. For units, a unit total is also included which is the accumulation of all activity at all unit wells and tracts.

  • Gas Shrinkage Summary Report - Shows summarized well/unit level data gathered from all facilities that well/unit flowed through. For units, summarized volumes from unit wells and tracts are reported in a unit total.  This report also calculates Loss/Gain for each well/unit both Pre- and Post-Consumption.  There is an Include Details report option that controls whether just a unit total is shown or if each unit well and tract is shown, in addition to the unit total.

  • Control Group Activity Trends - Shows Well/Unit Production, Sales, Facility Charges, and Royalty Obligations (cash royalties).  This report displays the Production Date as a column in the report body to make it easier to compare volumes/values from month to month.  The data is based on the transactions that occurred at the control group(s) selected.

Partner Operated

  • Partner Operated Facility Process Summary - Summary of partner Op, including gross/net, sales vol/value, keyed royalties, and production.

  • Partner Operated Facility Process Details - Details of partner op, including gross/net, transactions, production, and wellhead production.

 

Sales

  • Market Master Process Details - This is a large report. Available and allocated volumes for each delivery/purchaser/participant for each well/tract.

  • Contract Percent Details - Volumes allocated if Allocation Group/Allocation Method = Percentage (by purchaser/contract).

  • Theoretical Heat Content Analysis Details - Derived GJ's by well (well/tract if gas flow) if Gas Revenue Type = GJ. For component and IPS allocation methods (including gas flow component and IPS). The Theoretical Heat Method must be set to Wellhead net of liquid at the facility.

  • Energy Override Details - Displays dispositions where the energy has been overridden.

  • Nominations vs Actuals Details - Nomination VS allocated if nomination has been in put via the User Input screen.

  • Energy Sales Allocation - Gas sales vol , theoretical energy, actual energy, and sales value by well/tract/owner.

  • Sales Pricing Summary - Sales information by delivery system/purchaser/contract, including prices and transportation.

  • Gas Flow Facility Volume Sent - Volumes/components sent by well/tract/owner/flow for each facility. Can be used for all Gas Flow allocation methods.

  • CO2 Allocation - CO2 allocated to wells/tracts/owners if CO2 allocation option has been selected. Can be grouped by well/tract, owner, or purchaser.

Pipeline Splits

  • Delivery Report - Designed to send to pipelines and summarizes the pipeline splits at a purchaser level. Internal Qbyte Metrix IDs are not displayed on the report; Government codes and names are displayed instead.

  • Delivery Report - Purchaser Detail - Designed to send to purchasers and summarizes the pipeline splits at an owner level. Internal Qbyte Metrix IDs are not displayed on the report. Government codes and names are displayed instead.

  • Delivery Report - Owner Summary - Designed to send to owners and summarizes the pipeline splits at a facility level. It can be used to produce a report showing APMC deliveries by selecting APMC as the owner. Internal Qbyte Metrix IDs are not displayed on the report; Government codes and names are displayed instead.

  • Delivery Report - Owner Detail - This can be a large report. Designed to send to owners (if required) and details the pipeline splits at a well/unit level. Internal Qbyte Metrix IDs are not displayed on the report, Government codes and names are displayed instead.

  • Purchaser Delivery Summary - Sales vol, energy, and value by facility.

Distribution

  • Facility Production Balance - Inventory, transfers, production, and sales by owner and producing facility. WIO participant volumes are net of TIK royalties (including APMC). Can be grouped by facility or owner. Check this to ensure that Gas Closing Inventory = 0.

  • Partner Allocation Details - Gross/net production, transfers, sales, inventory by well/tract for each owner. WIO participant volumes are net of TIK royalties (including APMC).

  • Partner Production and Sales Distribution Details - Details for inventory, transfers, production, sales (volume, energy, value and value net of transportation), purchaser, and destination by Partner.  Note: This report is very similar to the Production and Sales Distribution Details report; however, this report is from the perspective of each individual partner (working interest owner or royalty owner).

  • Production and Sales Distribution Details - Details for inventory, transfers, production, sales (volume, energy, value and value net of transportation), purchaser, and destination; by well/tract/participant.  Note: If this report is run with a Business Associate selected, only those rows where the Business Associate is a Participant will be included.  Rows where the Business Associate is the Royalty Payor for another Participant will not be displayed.

  • Production and Sales Distribution Summary - Displays similar data as the Production and Sales Distribution Details report but reported at a summary level (well/tract only, no owners, destinations or purchasers).

  • Compare Splits - Displays the volume difference between frozen and current calculated splits on a property.

 

Interoperability

Field Data Capture

  • Westflo Upload - Details for Westflo loads including record type, production source, volume, energy, and error messages.

  • Field Data Capture Load Details - Details for FDC loads including record type, well, hours, volumes, etc.

  • Gas Analysis Upload Report - Details for FDC load for gas analysis.

  • Westflo Adjustments - Westflo sales/energy, adjustments, adjusted volume/energy, and adjustment reason.

 

Qbyte Metrix Imports

  • Import Status - Displays the imported data elements and all errors and warnings that occurred during the import.

Royalties

Master

  • Royalty Formula Details - Details for royalty formula including sub calcs, operators, global factors, formula factor type/value, etc. Will display table factors if included in the formula. Sorted by royalty formula. Can include/exclude wells/tracts that use formula.

  • Royalty Global Factor Detail - This master report displays the royalty user-defined global factors. As an option, you can choose to display Global Factor Usage and/or Unused Factors Only. When usages are displayed, and the well/tract is displayed without a formula, this means that the royalty user-defined global factor is linked to an obligation factor.

  • Royalty Holiday Details - Details for royalty holidays including maximum production month/volume/value and used value/volume/months etc.

  • Royalty Obligation Summary - This master report displays the main data elements from the Royalty Obligation Master tab in a simple tabular format for easier verification.

  • Royalty Obligation Details - Details for royalty formula including sub calcs, operators, global factors, formula factor type/value, etc. Will display table factors if included in the formula. Can be grouped by owner or well/tract. Tracts are excluded if control group is selected.

 

Calculation

  • Alberta Oil EOR Scheme Details - Crown royalty volume, EOR relief volume, and adjusted crown volume for EOR schemes.

  • Alberta Crown Royalty Calculation Details - Calculation details for Alberta Oil Crown Royalties.

  • BC Oil Crown Estimate - Contains information for BC Oil Crown Estimate including sales volume/value, production volume, old/new/third-tier volume, Crown volume, REN Factor, and Crown Share.

  • Manitoba Unit Production Volume Allocation Audit - Calculation details for Manitoba unit production volumes including entered base volume and adjusted production allocated to tracts.

  • Royalty Calculation Details - Details for royalty calculations including step-by-step values and the royalty payors. Can select TIK only or non TIK only.

  • Royalty Calculation Summary - Summary of royalty calculations for each well/tract or owner. Can be grouped by owner or well/tract. Can select only FH, ORR, Crown, IOGC, other, or F-Class royalties. Tracts are excluded if control group is selected.

  • Royalty Monthly Input Details - Details for input factors if included in a royalty formula. Input factors must be updated each month. Tracts are excluded if control group is selected.

 

Facility Charges

Master

  • Facility Charge Formula Details - Details for facility charge formula including sub type, operator, description, global factor, etc. Will display shutin factors if included in the formula. Sorted by facility charge formula. Can select all formulas or unused formulas. Can include/exclude entities that use the formula.

  • Facility Charge Maintenance Details - Details for facility charge maintenance including formula, product, charge type, exceptions, etc. Can choose to not report entity/owner/from-to/purchaser exceptions. Can group by control group or facility.

  • Shutin Lookup Table Details - Details for all shutin tables.

 

Calculation

  • Facility Charge Calculation Details - Details for facility charge calculations including step-by-step values.

  • Facility Charge Distribution Summary - Displays volume, value, GST, and PST. For each Facility Charge Expense Owners record, revenue owners are displayed.

  • Facility Charge Calculation Summary - Displays volume, revenue/expense value, GST, and PST. Each Expense Owner record is detailed, but Revenue Owner is summarized.

  • Facility Charge Expense Cost Centre Cross References - Displays the cost centre that has been input into the Facility Charges Cost Centre Cross Reference screen.

 

Regulatory

Measurement Edits

  • Measurement Edit Results - Details of measurement edits that show the severity of the error, the type of error, and whether it was acknowledged or suppressed.

 

Petrinex

  • NGL Valuation - Displays British Columbia NGL valuation details including Submitting Facility, Product, Sales Volume, Sales Value, Gross Price, Quality Adjustment Rate, Transportation Pipeline Rate, Transportation Rail Rate, Transportation Truck Rate, Fractionation Type, Fractionation Rate, and No Sales. For production dates before the BC Valuation Changes 2024 Implementation date, the Sales Value field will be populated and the new fields related to the BC Valuation 2024 changes (Gross Price, Quality Adjustment Rate, Transportation Pipeline Rate, Transportation Rail Rate, Transportation Truck Rate, Fractionation Type, and Fractionation Rate) will be reported as zeroes or blanks, as appropriate. For production dates on or after the BC Valuation Changes 2024 Implementation date, the Sales Value will be reported as zero and the fields related with the BC Valuation 2024 changes will be populated as required.

    • NOTE: As of August 2024, the BC government has delayed the implementation of the BC Valuation Changes 2024, indicating that they now believe this will not be implemented until 2027.

  • NGL Valuation Overrides (prior to Release 24.2 this was called NGL Valuation Transportation Rates) - Displays British Columbia NGL overrides for Transportation Rate, Default Transportation Type, Quality Adjustment Rate, Transportation Pipeline Rate, Transportation Rail Rate, Transportation Truck Rate, Fractionation Type, and Fractionation Rate by Submitting Facility, Product. The Transportation Rate, which is applicable only for production dates prior to the BC Valuation Changes 2024 Implementation date, may be populated with a non-zero value on any production date as this field may have been populated from a prior month as part of the Month End Close. The Default Transportation Type, which is applicable only for production dates on or after the BC Valuation Changes 2024 Implementation date, will be populated with the default value of TRANSPPL (Transportation Pipeline) for prior production dates as this default value was set as part of the installation of Release 24.2. The other fields related to the BC Valuation 2024 changes (Quality Adjustment Rate, Transportation Pipeline Rate, Transportation Rail Rate, Transportation Truck Rate, Fractionation Type, and Fractionation Rate) will be reported as zeroes or blanks, as appropriate. {Prior to Release 24.2, this report was called NGL Valuation Transportation Rates.}

    • NOTE: As of August 2024, the BC government has delayed the implementation of the BC Valuation Changes 2024, indicating that they now believe this will not be implemented until 2027.

  • Oil Valuation - Displays oil valuation details including Submitting Facility, Delivering Facility, Receiving Facility, CTP, Volume, Price, Transportation Cost, Quality Adjustment Rate, Transportation Pipeline Rate, Transportation Rail Rate, and Transportation Truck Rate. For non-BC submissions, any production date, and BC submissions for production dates before the BC Valuation Changes 2024 Implementation date, the Transportation Cost field will be populated and the fields related to the BC Valuation 2024 changes (Quality Adjustment Rate, Transportation Pipeline Rate, Transportation Rail Rate, and Transportation Truck Rate) will be reported as zeroes or blanks, as appropriate. For BC submissions for production dates on or after the BC Valuation Changes 2024 Implementation date, the Transportation Cost will be reported as zero and the fields related to the BC Valuation 2024 changes will be populated as required.

    • NOTE: As of August 2024, the BC government has delayed the implementation of the BC Valuation Changes 2024, indicating that they now believe this will not be implemented until 2027.

  • SAF OAF Stream Owner Allocation - Petrinex reporting that shows Submitting Facility, Product, Activity, From/To, Cascade, Stream, Owner Government Code, and Volume/Energy.

  • SAF OAF Summary - Sums up all SAF/OAF details from the above report by reporting facility.

  • Volumetric Facility Activity - Petrinex reporting that shows Activity by each Product, Volume, Hours, Energy, CCI Codes, etc.

 

British Columbia

  • BC08 Facility List - A list of facilities within each Control Group that files BC08 reports.

  • BC09 Facility List - A list of facilities within each Control Group that files BC09 reports.

  • BC REN Master - A master report that can include Gas Specific details, Raw Gas Delivered, Wells/tracts, Reporting Percentages, Base Rates, and Owners.

  • BC08 Marketable Gas and Byproduct Details - Displays gas and by-product details by well/tract and working interest owner for BC08 reporting purposes.

  • BC08 Marketable Gas and Byproduct Summary - A condensed version of the Details report without WIOs.

  • BC09 Monthly Oil Sales Details - Oil sales by well/tract including volumes, value, owners, purchasers, and sales values net of transport for BC09 reporting purposes.

  • BC Monthly Oil Sales Summary - Condensed version of the above report showing oil sales details by battery.

  • S1 Monthly Production Statement - Displays the estimated, prorated, and measured production volumes for a given activity period and UWI within a battery.

  • S2 Monthly Disposition Statement - Displays the total production, receipts, and delivery volume for Oil, Gas, and Water as well as Opening and  Closing Inventories for Oil and Water.

 

Manitoba

  • Manitoba Monthly Freehold Production Tax Statement - Displays well/tract details of Freehold Production Tax Payable for properties that are not using Horizontal Drainage Units/Spacing Units.  The report is run by Battery or Unit.

  • Manitoba Monthly Oil Crown Royalty Statement - Displays well/tract details of Crown Royalty Payable for properties that are not using Horizontal Drainage Units/Spacing Units.  The report is run by Battery or Unit.

  • Manitoba Monthly Crown Statement - Drainage Units - Displays Crown Royalty Payable for properties configured to use Horizontal Drainage Units/Spacing Units.  The report is run by Control Group.

  • Manitoba Monthly Freehold Statement - Drainage Units - Displays Freehold Tax Payable for properties configured to use Horizontal Drainage Units/Spacing Units.  The report is run by Control Group.

 

IOGC (Indian Oil And Gas Canada)

  • Oil Royalty Statement (IOGC) - Statement required by the IOGC to provide details of oil royalty calculations by Royalty Entity ID.

  • Gas Royalty Statement (IOGC) - Statement required by the IOGC to provide details of gas royalty calculations by Royalty Entity ID.

  • Remittance Advice (IOGC) - Remittance Statement required by the IOGC that provides backup to the cheque.  The report is by Reserve and contains the total amount due for all Royalty Entities calculated in the month (including amendments).  This statement must be run before the Corporate Close is done.  

 

Financial

Vouchers

  • Financial Interface Vouchers - Accounting Date, Production Date, Financial Interface, Batch #, Voucher #, Account, CC, Comment, Billing Code, Debit, Credit, Volume, etc.

  • Facility Charge Owner Summary - Facility Charge Expenses by Owner including Revised/Previous/Net Volume and Value for each Entity/Product/Charge Type/Formula Retrieval Type. Often used as backup for JIBs.

  • Royalty Owner Summary - Financial information by Royalty Owner, including Revised/Previous/Net Volume and Value for each Royalty.  Includes NRT information. Often used as backup for JIBs.

  • Purchaser Summary - Financial information by Purchaser, including Revised/Previous/Net Volume and Value for each Facility/Delivery System/Product.

  • Ownership Summary - Financial information by Owner, including Revised/Previous/Net Volume and Value for each Well/Product/Transaction Type/Exception.   • System Security Details - This report displays Qbyte Metrix Roles, the Secured Component, Secured Component Description, and the Permission for each Secured Component. The Roles criteria allow you to report only on specific Roles or Roles with specific attributes, such as Roles including AnalysisEdit (any permission) or Roles including Full Access permission on WellMaintenanceEdit.

  • User Summary - Condensed version of the User Details report showing ID, Description, Inactive User, All Control Group Access, Row Created By User, Row Created By Date, Row Updated By User, and Row Updated By Date. The drill-down for each user takes you to the User Details report.

  • User Details - This report displays user Corporate Roles/Control Group Roles and the Permission for the security components within the Roles. When the report option Include permissions is Yes, the following sections will be visible in the report: 

  • Resulting Corporate Permissions section - Displayed after the Corporate Roles section. Resulting Corporate Permissions section displays a list of every Secured Component associated with any of the users' Corporate Roles, the highest level of permission they have for each Secured Component, and the Role from which they receive that level of permission. 

    • For example, if users have more than one Corporate Role and in one Role (SUPERVISOR) they have View Only access to BatteryFactorsEdit, and in the other (PRODACCOUNTANT) they have Full Access, then, for the BatteryFactorsEdit Secured Component, the report would indicate Full Access, and the Role would show PRODACCOUNTANT.

  • Control Group Resulting Permissions section - Displayed after the Regions/Control Groups related to Control Group Roles section. This section displays a list of every Secured Component associated with the Control Group Role and the permission that role gives the user.

    • The Roles criteria allow you to identify users you want to appear on the report based on a Role or an attribute of a Role, instead of having to explicitly identify the user (using the User criteria). This criteria allows you to find and report on all users who have a specific Role or on all users who have a Role that includes a specific Secured Component or even a specific Permission for a specific Secured Component.

    • Report on all users who have ADMINISTRATOR Role (either as Corporate Role or a Control Group Role).

    • Report on all users who have a Role that includes AnalysisEdit (any permission).

    • Report on all users who have a Role that includes Full Access to WellMaintenanceEdit.
