IFS BOLO and IFS AFE User Documentation

IFS AFE/IFS BOLO Interoperability

This section is intended to capture the application and functionality associated with the handling of and requirements surrounding AFE creation, tracking and reporting when IFS AFE is implemented with IFS BOLO. It will focus primarily on master data element requirements, AFE setup and integration, field estimate creation and the transfer of project costs between IFS AFE and the IFS BOLO financial systems.

Configuration of the interface between the IFS AFE and IFS BOLO systems is covered in the IFS AFE/IFS BOLO Installation & Configuration section. Basic code and interoperability setup is covered in IFS AFE/IFS BOLO System Setup. Once the configuration has been completed, web services are triggered by changes to the associated files, some of which are contingent upon wells and AFEs being created in IFS AFE.

Administration setup

In order for interoperability to function between IFS AFE and IFS BOLO, the following data setup must  be completed in IFS BOLO  prior to the execution of the web services passing data between the applications.

The setup in this section defines interoperability profiles, setups, and defaults required at each client site.
