Field Estimates (Incurred Costs)

Costs for products and services that have been agreed to, but not yet invoiced are created in IFS AFE and transferred to IFS BOLO. Incurred Costs include reserved equipment and scheduled services the company has issued commitments to suppliers and vendors, per normal business practices.
When transferred into IFS BOLO, these Incurred Costs will be displayed as though the summary for all periods had been manually entered in CBD1310, per budget account. Costs transferred from IFS AFE are cumulative.
1. Open the AFE in IFS AFE and click on Enter Field Estimates.
2. Enter the incurred costs in the Field Estimates section of the grid. If additional fields such as Vendor Ticket and Description are entered, this data will not be interfaced to IFS BOLO, but will, of course, be available in IFS AFE.
IFS AFE automatically transfers these costs the next time that its background services run.
Total Costs Actual and Incurred (field estimates) can be displayed from the Field Estimates link under Reports.
