For Optix, a system administrator Oracle role called "optix_admin" should be granted to a select few individuals within your organization.  

Only users which have been granted the Optix system administrator role will have access to:

• Update and maintain corporate preferences and corporate defaults

• The Optix Logical Model

• Delete other users' reports, Excel templates and archives
