Benefits of using the Financial Identifier Status Screen
Financial Identifier Status
This screen displays status information for all Financial Identifiers generated in Qbyte Metrix. At a glance, you can see basic information like Region, Accounting Date, Submission Type (Vouchers or Report), Entity Type (Region, Control Group, Financial Group, Global), Preliminary/Final, etc.
For Final Vouchers, you can view Batch Numbers, Status information and Amounts. Clicking the Show More button displays additional data including the detailed parameters that were used to create the Financial Identifier.
This screen can be launched in two ways:
From the Main menu select the Financial tab and then Status. When launched from the menu, the Accounting Date filter will default to the current System Accounting Date to reduce the amount of information that needs to be retrieved and displayed. The user can clear the Accounting Date filter or modify it to view Financial Identifiers for other Accounting Dates.
This screen can also be launched from the Monthly Close: Region submission screen to review Financial Identifier status before running the Month End Close. From the Main menu select the Monthly Procedure tab, then the Monthly Close tab, followed by the Region option. Once the Monthly Close: Region screen is open, click the View Interface Status button. When launched from the Monthly Close: Region screen, the Region ID and Accounting Date filters will be set based on the Monthly Close: Region options and they will be protected. The user will not be able to clear or modify the Region ID or Accounting Date filters.
Once the Financial Identifier Status screen is launched, regardless of how it was launched, it will display information on the most recent status of the Financial Identifiers created by Qbyte Metrix.
Highlighting a row will display a set of tabs below the grid showing Control Groups and Vouchers (if applicable).
The Control Groups tab will only be displayed for rows with Submission Type = Voucher.
The Vouchers tab will only be displayed for rows with Submission Type = Voucher and Preliminary/Final = Final.
Selecting one or more rows may enable the Delete Row(s) button, depending on security access.
You can click the paper icon to launch the Qbyte Metrix Financial Interface Voucher report in Qbyte Optix.
This icon will only appear on rows with Submission Type = Voucher and where data exists for the Financial Interface Voucher Report.

OneStep Information
The OneStep Error Message column provides you with the error that occurred when the Qbyte FM OneStep submission fails. When there is a OneStep Error Message populated it may be possible to simply re-submit the Qbyte FM OneStep process, depending on the reason for the failure.
If the reason for the failure can be addressed without having to make changes to data in Qbyte Metrix and re-running the Financial Interface Final process, then you can use the Resubmit OneStep link to submit the Qbyte FM OneStep process again.
When resubmitting the Qbyte FM OneStep process, validations are run prior to the resubmit to ensure that the Qbyte Metrix Batch file is still available to be submitted.
If any errors occur during the validation phase, then they will appear at the top of the screen (like typical screen errors) and the Qbyte FM OneStep process will not be resubmitted.
The existing OneStep Error Message will remain, and the process can be re-submitted again if the issues can be resolved.
When the validation is successful, the Qbyte FM OneStep process will be resubmitted.
A successful resubmit of the Qbyte FM OneStep will display a success message at the top of the screen and various fields will be updated (Overall Status, FM Report ID, Batch Status, etc.).
As there are no more OneStep errors, the OneStep Error Message column will be cleared and the Resubmit OneStep link will disappear.
