Introduction

Ā Output file(s)Ā that are generated from Qbyte Metrix processesĀ are saved within the Qbyte Metrix database. The File Repository screen allowsĀ users to view, download, and delete theseĀ output files.

The File Repository screen can be accessed via the File Repository link at the top right-hand corner of the Qbyte Metrix application.

Ā

File Repository

This screen allows users to view, download and delete all output files generated by Qbyte Metrix. All users are allowed access to this screen. The ability to download and/or delete aĀ generated output fileĀ is controlled by the security component FileRepository. Users withĀ View AccessĀ or Full AccessĀ to the security component FileRepository can click on the File Name to download and view the contents of the file. In addition, users with Full Access can delete any unwanted files. See Security Component section below for more information. Note:Ā Standard Windows File Associations need to be set up to allow for the Open option to be available.Ā Filenames can only be saved/downloaded one at a time.

By default, only the files created within the last three months will be displayed. To see a list of all files the user can click theĀ Display All button. (Note: Displaying all files may take some time for the larger clients or clients that have been using Qbyte Metrix a long time, but it should not be an unreasonable amount of time.) When displaying all files the user can revert displaying just the files from the last three months by clicking the Display Last 3 Months button (which replaced the Display All button once theĀ Display AllĀ  button was clicked).

To delete files, select the files to be deleted by clicking the checkbox in theĀ Select column and clicking theĀ Delete button.

The following shows the screen after theĀ Display All button has been clicked.
