Introduction

The following information may refer to fields and functionality that will not be accessible for production dates after the BC Petrinex Implementation Date.

The BC government has provided some clients with additional Reporting Government Client Codes to track sales activities for certain Joint Venture agreements.

The existing BC08 CSV creation process assumes the Master Owner of the Region is to be used for the BC08. If you are now required to submit BC08s for different Reporting Owners, this enhancement will allow you to override owners that must now be reported under a different Reporting Owner.

Owner Maintenance

The Owner Master Maintenance screen now allows you to enter an override Owner for BC08 Reporting purposes. The Override should only be entered for owners that are not being reported under the Master Owner. A BC08 Reporting Owner Override cannot be set for the Region Master Owner.

Step 5 Process

The BC08 data is gathered during Step 5 processing. For each owner detail entry, the process will first look for an override owner (by production date). If the owner was not overridden, the process will default to the Region Master Owner. Error messages are displayed in the Message Centre when:

The Reporting Owner and/or Override Owner Government Code does not exist.
The retrieved Government Code for the entered master owner or override owner’s government code is larger than 4 characters.

Create BC08 CSV File (Submission Screen)

The Reporting Owner has been added to the Create BC08 CSV File submission screen. The Reporting Owner defaults to the Master Owner of the Region you are in, and can be changed to a different Reporting Owner.

BC08 Facility List

The Reporting Government Code entered on the Submission screen has been added to the BC08 Facility List report.

BC08 Marketable Gas and Byproduct Details

The label for Master Owner has been changed to Reporting Owner.
