Best Practices: Source Control

Workflows, along with other data relating to workflows (e.g. Tables, Tables data, etc.) should be kept in source control like any other code.

As a rule, we use the WorkFlowContentManager program to pull the source code from ProcessMaker via REST calls, which we then the upload them into source control.
The cadence of each check-in should be:

  • Once the developer has completed the development of the user story. 

  • Updates to any tables and the data within any tables
