Introduction

The IFS Reporting Credential Configuration provides a process for configuring your IFS Reporting credentials within IFS Workflow, so that any workflow can utilize IFS Reporting reports within the workflow itself. It needs to be run only once for the credentials to remain. Should you switch your IFS Reporting server, it will need to be run again.

System Configuration

Workflow user needs to have training and experience with both IFS Workflow and IFS Reporting. This guide is not intended to be a training guide for IFS Workflow.

Additionally, the customer needs to have IFS Reporting installed and running.

No system configuration is needed within your accounting or land products, nor is IFS Reporting required. However, the EXTERNAL_API table within IFS Workflow must exist.

IFS Workflow Users and User Groups Must be Set Up

There are no groups or specified users for this workflow.

Process Description

The process is kicked off manually by any designated user from the New Case screen.

1. The user will need to make sure the Reporting Host URL is correct.

Note: The user's IFS Reporting username will automatically default in as long as both IFS Reporting and IFS Workflow usernames are the same.

2. The user will enter their organization and IFS Reporting password

3. Once these details are correct, the user will click the Submit button, which generates a new security token.

4. This token allows for all workflows to call and utilize IFS Reporting reports without the need for further set up within IFS Workflow.

5. Clicking the Submit button will end the case.
