Post Actuals And Designate Reversals - REV220

This program posts actual gross sales to the Revenue Accrual Master file and flags existing accruals for reversal. The posting is dependent on the accruing level set in Revenue Accrual Setup (REV296), and controls set up in the Accrual Control Master file by Revenue Accrual Control Maintenance (REV108). It prints a report is of gross sales posted to the Accrual Master file and summary pages that display totals by product.

This process must be executed prior to performing any of the other accrual processes for a given period, since current period reported sales can affect which and how accruals are generated. You can rerun this process during a period to collect any gross sales that have previously not been posted. In the case where all insiders have been suspended, the gross sales item is not posted to the accrual and the prior accrual is not reversed.
