Division Order Master Purge - REV320

The Division Order Master Purge (REV320) program purges the Division Order Master file. The purpose of this process is to create more disk space and to prevent the use of old/bad DOIs. This program also produces the Purged Revenue Divisions of Interest report.

Due to the tax reporting requirements associated with Windfall Profits Tax, the Division Order Master file must not be purged until after all tax reports have been processed. The Division Order Master file is also required for the Gross Sales Reversal process. The reversal program displays an error message if the required division order is not on file. You must rebuild the missing division order in order to complete the reversal.

Contact your Excalibur Systems Consultant before beginning this purge process. Generally, you should run it through a fiscal/calendar year end. If your company has a fiscal year end that is not a calendar year end, you should run it for the preceding calendar year after the fiscal year end has been closed.
