IFS IDEAS 6.13.3.0 includes enhancements in the following areas:

The following features are available in IFS IDEAS 6.13.3.0.

Purpose of Payment Codes

Many countries are beginning to require that Purpose of Payment codes should be included with payment information.  6.13.3.0 gives the ability to define and record these codes for use in AP. 

• A new Purpose of Payment definition screen has been added under the Utilities menu to define the codes specific to the countries that require them

• Vendor Maintenance has been modified to allow for designation of a default Purpose of Payment code by vendor

• The Purpose of Payment code will automatically be entered in a new field located on the Defaults tab of the Invoice Entry screen, if defined for a vendor.  This information is then saved as part of the invoice record.

• The Check Format screen now includes the ability to add this information to the check stub format. 

• For ISO 20022 ACH users, this information will be available to include in the XML file if needed.

Security

This release improves security in select screens and functions.
