Summary of Changes

IFS IDEAS 6.9.1.0 is a patch release that fixes a mixture of bugs in various modules.  The key fixes in this patch are listed below. Please refer to the  IFS IDEAS 6.9.1.0 Risk Assessments  for all fixes included in this patch.

IFS IDEAS 6.9.1.0 includes software maintenance in the following areas:

• Enterprise Reporting

  • Exports to Excel of financial reports generated by the Enterprise Reporting module have been optimized. These exports preserve the formatting that is expected by our clients, but also improves the performance of the export back to levels that our customers are accustomed to.

• iApprove

  • Element Descriptions – Element descriptions are now included when reviewing the coding in Invoices, Purchase Documents, and Requisitions. This will help to assist approvers who are not familiar with the elements in IFS IDEAS.

  • Attachments from the Web Interface – PDF and image files can now be attached directly from within the iApprove Approval screens for Invoices, Purchase Documents, and Requisitions

  • Attachment Flow – Documents attached to any document record will now be visible on all related document records.  

    • For example, if a document is attached to a Purchase Requisition and that requisition is ultimately used to create a Purchase Document, then the attachment will be visible in the Purchase Document record without having to manually add the attachment to the Purchase Document. The same is true for related Invoices.
