Owner Sales Inquiry/Transfer - REV210
This program allows you to access owner detail sales for display, hard copy, or transfer of detail items in the Detail Sales Suspense file to the Detail Sales Ledger file. During Revenue distribution, the system creates detail sales items on the Detail Sales Ledger file. After these items are paid and month end processing is reconciled, the Transfer Paid/Released Transactions to History - REV215 program transfers them to the Detail Sales History file. This transfer must occur before you can process the Sales Balance Forward Purge - REV300 program or DR 21-W report and forms.
The Transfer Permanent Suspense to Suspense File - REV212 program can transfer permanent suspense in the Detail Sales Ledger file to the Detail Sales Suspense file. This removes excess items from the Detail Sales Ledger file, which improves the Revenue system's performance. Keep permanent suspense in the Suspense file, and run the REV212 transfer on a regular basis such as monthly. Also, transfer paid items to history monthly. Once the suspense is resolved, you must use this program to transfer items that you transferred to the Suspense file back to the Detail Sales Ledger file for payment.
You must execute the Inquiry/Transfer process on an owner-by-owner basis. You can specify which wells, sale dates, products, or combination of those you want to process. To execute a transfer, you must select the Suspense Report Option field because you can only transfer permanent suspense. If you do not want to leave an audit trail, you can allow New Owner changes for permanent suspense transfers in this program by selecting the Allow Owner Change/REV210 check box in Revenue System Setup - REV295. If you want to leave an audit trail, click to clear the Allow Owner Change/REV210 check box in Revenue System Setup - REV295, and perform permanent suspense transfers in the Suspense Release Allocation - REV240A program. The New Owner and Pay Code fields are optional for a transfer, as outlined below.
The Well Sales Inquiry - REV211 program has capabilities similar to REV210. REV211 allows you to inquire on a well basis rather than an owner basis, meaning, you can specify a well, then the owners you want to display. However, you cannot use REV211 to transfer owners from the Suspense file to the Detail Sales Ledger file.
