Implementation Procedures (LDO)

Set up the Land Division Orders System as follows:

1. Enter the defaults and features being used LDO System Setup - LDO295.

2. Set up Royalty Interest Groups - LDO120 that contain one or a set of Royalty Interest owners that burden the same Working Interest owner or group of Working Interest owners.

3. Set up Working Interest Groups - LDO115. A Working Interest group contains the owners operating under a contract, which is also referred to as a receiving group. This group contains the Working Interest owners and overrides and that portion of the royalty ownership which burdens the Working Interest group. This is discussed in more detail in Working Interest Groups - LDO115.

4. Enter tracts in LDO Tract Master - LDO100. Tracts represent the basis for the calculation of the participation factor. A tract can be assigned to multiple wells, or multiple tracts can be assigned to one well.

5. Assign tracts to wells with Build Division of Interest - LDO110. Each tract represents a receiving group. Assign Working Interest groups to each tract on the well.
   
   When you have finished assigning the Working Interest groups to the tracts and the tracts to the wells, and all edits and validations have been successfully performed, you can print a variety of reports, create split stream working interest groups, and/or create the Revenue Division of Interest decks through Build/Update Revenue DOIs - LDO350.
