Asset Management Detail GLTXD

The program will allow and require data entry in the Asset Management prompts below only if you are using the Asset Management system, and only if the GL account you entered above is an "Inventory Required" account (as shown in the Chart of Accounts Master (GL124) screen. This is indicated with a 'Y' under AM Req in the detail grid.)

If the line detail entry involves a new Asset, the new Asset should be created in Asset Master (AM150A), unless your system setup includes automatic asset creating at posting (Asset Management Setup - Flags AM295B).
