IFS Enterprise Upstream and IFS ProCount System Setup

To set up interoperability you must configure both the IFS ProCount system and the IFS Enterprise Upstream system.

IFS ProCount System Setup

This page focuses on the IFS side of the integration.

IFS Enterprise Upstream System Setup

1. Before any data can be integrated between the systems, you must create a new system profile for the interop.

2. To allow daily volumes to be populated in IFS Enterprise Upstream, you must set up the Production Defaults Pressure Base

  • The Pressure Base field is the only one you need to set, because it is used to populate the std_pressure_base in the EDD table, and this is needed for the EDD API process. No matter what that default is, IFS Enterprise Upstream will always convert to 14.73.

  • The std_pressure_base column does store the default, but it does not affect the incoming record. The recommendation is to always set the Pressure Base as 14.73, so there is no confusion about the data.

3. Finally, you must set up two new codes required for the IFS Enterprise Upstream to IFS Merrick Integration.

To create a IFS Merrick Integration system profile:

1. In IFS Enterprise Upstream, open the System Profile form by selecting Profiles, and then System.

2. Find the System Profile row called IFS Merrick Integration.

3. In the IFS Merrick Integration row, in Site, type Yes

4. Save your changes.

To set up the Production Defaults Pressure Base:

1. In IFS Enterprise Upstream Production Management, select Setup, and then Defaults

2. In Pressure Base, set the value to 14.730.

To set up new codes:

1. Follow the instructions on IFS Enterprise Upstream Interop Code Setup
