Getting Started with IFS Hosted Qbyte Financial Environments

Hosted vs. On-Premise
This is a guide for users who have access to a Qbyte Financial environment that is hosted online by IFS.
Users who access a Qbyte Financial environment on an internal company server are considered to be On-Premise. This guide is not applicable to On-Premise customers; users with issues accessing an On-Premise environment should first consult with their IT department before contacting IFS Qbyte Support.
Logging In
Access for clients hosted by IFS can be obtained by going to the IFS Qbyte Hosted Portal found at the following URL: https://cloud.qbyte.com
The Hosted Portal has Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enabled. To successfully log into the Hosted Portal you must have a device (phone, tablet, etc.) that has an authentication application (Auth0 Guardian, Microsoft Authenticator, or Google Authenticator) installed and configured for the Hosted Portal. Your IFS Qbyte User ID can only be linked to a single device for MFA. Should you wish to change the device (and/or the authenticator application) being used to authenticate the account, please contact IFS Qbyte Support to have the device unlinked from the account. After the device is unlinked, use the desired device and application to perform the setup steps once again.
Running Applications via Citrix
The Other Applications section of the Hosted Portal contains applications that are required for important business functions:
Excel 2016 for Legacy Spreadsheet Uploads
IFS hosted File Explorer (used for accessing interface and payment files, as well as spreadsheet upload templates / connections)
Third Party Scripts Hosted by IFS
Accessing these applications requires that Citrix Workspace be installed on the computer.
To download the correct Citrix Workspace version, in the Hosted Portal after logging in, select Related Links, and choose the Citrix Workspace for Windows option. This is linked to the correct version of Citrix Workspace.
Download and Follow Installer Instructions
Click to download and follow the installer instructions to complete the setup.
During Installation
1. DO NOT Enable Single Sign-on
2. DO NOT enable App protection
3. Click Finish to complete installation.
