Owner Amount Adjustments - REV244

Search the IFS Excalibur Wiki

This program allows you to manually enter detail sales suspense files at an owner level or enter adjusting detail sales transactions that affect an owner's pay balance. Although you primarily use this program for manual suspense, you can also use it to do manual JIB/REV Netting. For more information, refer to the Adjustment description below.

If you have gross sales information and you want to calculate an owner's detail sales information, use the Detail Sales Suspense/Adjustment - Owner Detail (REV246) program instead of this program.

If you choose the Suspense option, the system does not create General Ledger (GL) transactions for these items, and you must make a GL Journal entry to the GL revenue suspense account.

Use the Adjustment option to input adjusting detail sales transactions to adjust an owner's pay amount that a previously distributed gross sales item generates. You can use this program if someone billed an owner incorrectly on a DOI or if you require a special charge on an owner. You cannot enter gross and quantity for adjustments. Consult your Excalibur Representative when you must also make a GL Journal entry to the royalties payable account.

Enter all transactions for a period end date prior to the next Revenue check processing period. After you enter the first detail item and press enter , the following fields default from the previous item: Well, Product, Sale Date, Type Interest, Pay Code, and Transaction Code.

Before you can access (REV244), you must enter a company ID and a period end date in the Company and Period End Date - GPED.CO dialog box.
