Build Revenue Withholding - REV870

This process builds Revenue Withholding Information records in file REV_WH_INFO (RWI) from selected Detail Sales History (DSH) records.  This process is run before making adjusting entries (REV145) or preparing CA Nonresident Withholding Tax Statements CA592-B (REV871).

Output will include a status report, and either Detail or Summary of the DSH data collected.

The status report includes the Non-Print components used when calculating Gross; lists any errors or warnings encountered; if a Payee’s withholding deviates from the standard as defined in the State Master, that Payee is listed with the actual percentage withheld.

This process can be run repeatedly, either in a report only mode or with the option to (re-)build the REV_WH_INFO file.
