Revenue Accruals Overview

The accrual process of Excalibur's Revenue system has several points of flexibility. The system allows for both manually and automatically generated accruals and adjustments to accruals that have been reversed. When actual sales are received, the accruals for that same sale date are automatically reversed. Manual intervention, as in all accounting areas, is required to "keep on top" of the system-generated accruals, and reconciliation procedures should be established.
